Literature data about semi-volatile organic compounds in plants and the effect of cerium oxide nanoparticles on them are scarce. Surface modification may change nanoparticle-environment interaction, therefore affects plants. In this research, uncoated glucose-, levan-, pullulan-coated were used for wheat pea treatment during growth. The aim was screening from plants’ shoots using comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography–mass spectrometry, a powerful separation technique allowing to reach unique resolution, investigation qualitative changes after with coated nanoparticles. results analyzed by identification individual peaks fingerprint analysis image processing.
